Let's imagine that you are the network administrator of a large network and you need to keep a close eye on the hard disk space of each computer. The installation wizard of SpaceObServer is not difficult to complete and nor is the usage of the application. After installing and launching the program, the user will see a complex interface, which can display hard disk information in various ways.

First of all, the user needs to select the partition or folder that should be monitored. After completing this step, the user will scan all the files and folders and will display the size of each folder in various ways, as a pie chart, graph or text. The program can also order every folder according to how much space it takes up, allowing the user to see which folder takes up the most hard disk space.

All the information displayed in the program can be exported to various files, like text, PDF, Excel, HTML and so on. Besides that, the hard disk space report can also be saved as an XML file, for being used later on. Scanning folders on a network computer is as easy as scanning the ones stored on the local computer, as the user just needs to select the associated network drive or network share.
